Then a part of me would die inside, dont get me wrong i like Msoft but apple is shitloads more creative and innovative, i mean take a look at IE6

It’s pretty sad… he almost died if it wasn’t for his recent liver transplant. He also lied about this health and is currently being investigated by the SEC.

  6. jwd0808 says:

Semantics here – they didn’t save Apple but they definitely kept Apple from going under.

i quess many of you just dont check the power of microsoft…they could buy apple off if it wasnt against some rules and some fatheaded stockowners :D well but i like apple…:)

  8. blowme23 says:

well that is just it. It was a settlement which Microsoft saw as bieng an investment instead of a cost. Now they could have taken it to court in a long drawn out court case and Apple would have gone broke waiting.

  9. Winterdenni says:

What you’re saying is true… but you fail to mention that Microsoft’s investment in Apple wasn’t exactly voluntary, it was part of a settlement they made for infringing on Quicktime patents.

  10. blowme23 says:

Apple would have gone under if it wasn’t for those investments. While Steve Jobs return did bring Apple to it’s current glory, the company would not have survived if it wasn’t for Microsoft.

  11. beejm90 says:

Microsoft’s Investment didn’t save Apple. Steve Jobs coming back along with a decent product strategy Is what saved Apple. Besides, Microsoft didn’t do It out of the kindness of there heart. They did It because they knew a good Investment opportunity when they saw one.

    How quickly they forget.

  13. blowme23 says:

I find it funny how they don’t give any credit to Microsoft for Apples recovery since they were the ones that came in and invested into Apple thus saving it.

come on its a joke! we admire Jobs.

  24. grcirca1985 says:

If he’d died I’d have probably made a joke about the resurrection of Jobs in accordance with the Messianic prophecy. On the third day he’d rise again and unveil the latest iPhone: iPhone Holy Trinity Generation–like 3G, only it’s divinely inspired, thus allowing you to communicate directly with God (roaming fees may apply).

  25. MacAndRick says:

What is the point of saying that, if he died would you still of said that?
